Waste
The EHSdesk™ Waste module manages waste characterization information associated with operational processes at equipment or related groups of equipment. The characterization data supports the waste analysis required prior to generating waste. Waste is integrated tightly with the EHSdesk Waste Information Management System (WIMS) module that tracks the contents of waste containers. Waste characterizations are documented for each process/activity waste type combination and assigned to EPA codes, waste generation locations, final destinations, materials from the equipment, Land Disposal Restriction (LDR) data, and the waste ID from WIMS. Waste sample results from the EHSdesk Sample module may be linked as part of the documentation of rationale.
